Our Wider Team
Our Classrooms
Sheen Montessori has three classrooms - Bronte, Darwin, and Newton. Each is led by at least two qualified Montessori teachers, ensuring expert delivery of our authentic Montessori curriculum. Several of our team hold Level 6 Qualified Early Years Teacher (QEYT) status, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards in early years education.
Specialist Support
Our afternoon enrichment programme is delivered by specialist teachers who bring additional expertise in music, movement, and creative activities. This ensures every child has access to high-quality experiences beyond the core Montessori curriculum.
Staff Qualifications & Safeguarding
All staff are Paediatric First Aid qualified and have undergone enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks. We maintain a staff-to-child ratio of 1:5 - significantly above statutory requirements - ensuring every child receives the individual attention they deserve. Our team receives ongoing training throughout the year, including termly inset days focused on Montessori practice and child development.
