Our Story

Born from a Vision

Sheen Montessori Nursery was founded to bring authentic Montessori education to East Sheen. What started as a single classroom has grown into a thriving three-class nursery, serving families from Richmond, Barnes, Mortlake, and beyond. We remain committed to the Montessori philosophy of child-led learning and respect for each child's individual development.

In 2024, we joined SMART Pre-School Education Ltd (SPEL Group), marking an exciting new chapter. This partnership has strengthened our capacity to deliver exceptional early years education while preserving the Montessori ethos that defines us.

Our location at Palewell Cottage is purpose-built for early years learning. Nestled on Palewell Common Drive in East Sheen, we have the woodland on our doorstep and a large garden for outdoor learning - the perfect environment for young minds to flourish.
